Comparisons of AMD Microarchitectures

3D Mark 06 and 3D Mark 11

The integrated graphics of the APUs were then tested using 3D Mark.
3DMark06
Being the oldest platform with only DirectX 9 capability, GeForce 7050PV was obviously the slowest one. Athlon 5350, being a low end proejct, was slower than the mainstream APUs. A10-5700 boasted at least 10% advantage over A8-3800.
3DMark11
A10-5700 was 20%+ faster than A8-3800 in the DirectX 11 benchmark. Athlon 5350 was half the speed of A8-3800. Athlon 5050e did not run 3D Mark 11 because it did not support DirectX 11.

I/O Performance and Memory Bandwidth

The I/O performance and memory performance were then tested.
ATTO
For small file transfer, all of the platform were similar in speed, with A10-5700 in a slight advantage. For transfer of large files, Athlon 5050e was left behind in read because it did not support SATA generation 3. Athlon 5350 held the advantage in write performance.
Sandra-MemorySandra-Efficiency
All platforms performed poorly in memory bandwidth test. None of the platforms could get 60% of the bandwidth efficiency.
