Some Low-Power Platforms Tested
Contender 1 – Biostar J1900NH2 (Celeron J1900)
At HKD$590 (US$76), the platform is targeted at low-cost systems. Two SO-DIMM slots are provided with a maximum frequency of DDR3-1333 / DDR3-1333L supported. There are no additional SATA and USB controllers included, so there are only 2 SATA-3Gbps ports and 1 USB 3.0 port. Users may found that the number of USB ports is only barely enough. The cooling of CPU is provided by a large heatsink without fan. The heatsink will get warm under full load.
